The primary character in the game, like Loony or Miller, can use their Talents to perform Swat attacks to destroy enemies in Inkulinati. Swat attacks can deal up to 5 damage to enemy units. Players can use Swat attacks frequently to annihilate weakened enemies before they can kill units on a level in the game.

Players need to manage their Living Ink to progress faster through the levels in the game. Most chapters in Inkulinati starts with over 10 Living Ink that can be used to draw characters onto the battlefield. Each unit, such as the Sword-Wielding Dog, require up to 5 Living Ink in order for the player to draw them onto the level.

Drawing an excess amount of units can drain the Living Ink available. Players can move their characters over a drop of ink that is placed on the floor to pick it up, which will increase the total number of Living Ink available in a chapter.

3 Turn On Hints

There are plenty of objects placed on each level in Inkulinati that have additional features. Players can use these objects to finish off their enemies in style while playing the game. Players can toggle Hints on to receive more information about their surroundings in each chapter.

Tiny-Inkulinati have a limited amount of health per level, requiring players to draw units around them to guard the Tiny-Inkulinati from incoming attacks. Players can also heal units using hand gestures to fortify the units against enemies in Inkulinati.
