The Nintendo Switch exclusive from PlatinumGames, Bayonetta 3, launches October 28, and is receiving a day one update from the developers prior to that release to ensure some improvements. As with any day one update, fans will be able to access it as soon as Bayonetta 3 launches, whether the game has been pre-downloaded to their Switch, or if they download it for the first time after launch.

Many big, AAA games come with day one updates and patches, as the game is being tested and small bugs or glitches are found that need to be fixed by the developers before the game can be fully released to the public. Though Bayonetta 3 did not have a public beta, presumably, the developers did their own alpha testing of the game and decided to patch a few things.

The main points of the day one update for Bayonetta 3 are about improving the Naive Angel Mode as well as online functionality of the game. There will be more options to employ Naive Angel Mode more often and it can now be activated at the very beginning of the game as well. Also, various new online game mode options will be available, such as uploading high scores to online leaderboards. As Bayonetta 3 is one of the highest-rated game releases of the year so far, fans are excited to get their hands on the game and that the developers are taking the time to make improvements and updates before the game launches.

Bayonetta 3 spoilers are all over the internet, so fans should be careful. The anticipation for a new Bayonetta game is deep in the Nintendo community, going back for many years, and surely, other console players are quite disappointed that the game will be a Switch exclusive.

Despite all of Bayonetta 3's voice actor controversy and the boycott, it seems that fans are still very excited to jump back into the high-heeled shoes of the Umbral Witch herself. Hopefully, the controversy and other negative statements being made online dies down as the game launches and players start to enjoy the game's action-packed gameplay.
