WWE superstar Bayley has just posted her reaction to her supposed character model in the upcoming WWE 2K24, and she seems less than thrilled at her digital likeness. The California-born wrestler has seen a rise as of late as both the leader of the villainous Damage CTRL faction and winner of the 2024 Women’s Royal Rumble. After setting a new women’s record for the annual match, Bayley earned a title match at this year’s WrestleMania against either WWE Women’s Champion Iyo Sky or WWE World Women’s Champion and WWE 2K24 Deluxe Edition cover star Rhea Ripley.

Before that potentially fateful match, Bayley will be included as a playable character in WWE 2K24, which is set to launch on March 8. It will be Bayley’s seventh appearance in a mainline WWE video game, as she made her digital debut in WWE 2K17. The WWE 2K series has evolved a considerable deal since then, and last year’s WWE 2K23 quickly became the highest-rated wrestling game since WWE ’13 when it launched last March. Bayley was a sure bet to be included in WWE 2K24’s playable roster, but it seems her appearance has been generating some controversy since it was revealed following her big Royal Rumble win.

WWE 2K24 quickly makes itself a very important stop on the road to WrestleMania 40, thanks to its Showcase Mode and gameplay improvements.

It would only be a matter of time before Bayley herself weighed in on her reported WWE 2K24 character model, which was shared in an image post from the SmackDown Hotel Twitter account earlier this week. On her own Twitter account, Bayley simply posted the phrase “HELP ME,” seemingly in response to the character model’s questionable hairstyle that doesn’t quite match up with how she normally appears in real life. Other users have agreed with Bayley’s response, with some calling for her model to be changed in time for WWE 2K24’s release.

Bayley Isn’t Thrilled With Her WWE 2K24 Likeness

Hairstyle controversies aside, WWE 2K24 looks to be a promising title thanks to a host of new features and match types like Special Guest Referee, Ambulance Match, Casket Match, and Gauntlet Matches. Additionally, while the past two WWE 2K Showcase modes have focused on a single superstar like Rey Mysterio or John Cena, this year’s version of the campaign mode will instead highlight famous matches throughout WrestleMania history in celebration of the event’s 40th anniversary this year.

Bayley could very well make her own WrestleMania moment following her recent victory at the Royal Rumble, but it looks like her current WWE 2K24 character model might not inspire the same confidence the superstar it's based on does when she walks out to the ring. Of course, there is still time for developer Visual Concepts to make adjustments to its character models before WWE 2K24 launches next month, especially with people like Bayley herself commenting on their current state.
