Those waiting for the new Battletoads title will be pleased to see the upcoming game's brand new trailer. This trailer shows off various members of the game's development team as well as footage from in-game cutscenes.

In this trailer, many members on the Battletoads development team talk about how the game was always intended to be a comedy, as well the steps that needed to be taken during the game's development. It overall gives off the impression that the team had a good time working together on this project.

The footage showing the animated cutscenes really highlight the smoothness of the animation shown, as well as the comedic writing that will be helping to carry the game. While comedy is subjective, it is very easy to make jokes flop to a point where nobody would enjoy them. This thankfully doesn't seem to be the case for Battletoads.

Many of the team members shown in this trailer are on the writing team, showing that there will be a lot of dialogue that players will be able to enjoy upon the release of Battletoads. The fact that the team is coming forward before the game's release also shows that the team is very satisfied with what they've created. This hopefully means that players will be able to truly enjoy Battletoads after many years without it.

The release date of Battletoads is coming soon, so players will be able to see these results for themselves in the days ahead.

Battletoads releases on August 20 on PC and Xbox One.
