When 254 players are engaged in warfare on a single server, there's no doubt that fights are going to get a little out of hand sometimes. In BattleBit Remastered, players will often find themselves fighting multiple enemies at once, emptying their primary weapon's magazine in a single engagement.

FPS gamers have time and time again been trained that switching to their sidearm is faster than reloading, and that's no different in this game. BattleBit Remastered might encourage players to combine their magazines before jumping into the fight, but time is a luxury on the battlefield. These are the best pistols for when players don't have their rifle at the ready.

7 USP

The USP is strictly worse than the other semi-automatic pistols in the game in almost every conceivable way. It has a slow fire rate, its magazine only holds 12 rounds, and the bullet velocity is relatively low. The USP's worst variable by far, though, is its abysmal reload time. Reloading this weapon takes over 3 seconds, so if players don't kill their enemy with the first magazine, they're as good as dead.

The only benefit the USP provides players is predictable recoil; it's a very stable pistol with equal vertical and horizontal kick, making it easy to control. Players who need that extra stability might grow to love the USP, but BattleBit Remastered has far better pistols to offer.

6 MP443

The MP443 shares a very similar set of stats to the USP, but it's better in almost every way. The MP443 shares a 25 damage per bullet stat with the USP but boasts a much higher fire rate, higher accuracy, higher bullet velocity, and a shorter reload time. This pistol's magazines are also loaded with a much more forgiving 16 rounds, letting players miss a couple more rounds during the heat of the moment and still come out on top.

As far as semi-automatic pistols go, the MP443 is a well-rounded sidearm that will keep players safe when all else fails. It's even possible to take out more than one enemy with a single magazine in a pinch.

5 M9

BattleBit M9 with red dot sight attachment, long suppressor barrel attachment, and Twitch drop camo.

The M9 is the king of the semi-automatic pistols in BattleBit Remastered. The fire rate and bullet velocity are less than that of the MP443, but that's inconsequential in the face of the one stat that really matters: raw damage output.

Whereas the USP and the MP443 both do 25 damage per hit in their effective ranges, the M9 has the edge, doing 30 damage per hit in its effective range. Accurate players will usually be dropping enemies in one less shot with the M9, which is the most important metric for success in this game.

4 Unica

BattleBit Unica heavy caliber pistol revolver.

The first heavy caliber pistol that players get their hands on in BattleBit Remastered, the Unica revolver features some fairly respectable stats. The Unica deals an incredible 60 damage per shot, with fairly high accuracy to boot.

The problems with the Unica derive from the fact that it's a revolver. This weapon has high vertical and horizontal recoil, and the reload time is an unforgiving 5 seconds long. Players will be able to put enemies down in 2 shots, but if they run out of rounds in their cylinder, they won't be having a good time.

3 Rsh12

BattleBit Rsh12 heavy caliber pistol revolver with a Pistol 8x Scope attachment.

This revolver has some pros and cons compared to the Unica, but two of its features make it a very solid pick for any player's loadout. Firstly, the Rsh12 does minor damage to enemy armor. Enemies can heal any damage done to them, but they won't be able to fix the armor damage players inflict upon them.

Second, the Rsh12 is unique in that it has a Pistol 8x Scope attachment, which encourages players to use this revolver at long range. This makes the Rsh12 a unique sidearm, able to be used across extremely long distances should a situation demand it.

2 Glock 18

BattleBit Glock 18 with a red dot sight attachment and extended magazine attachment.

The Glock 18 is one of the best pistols in BattleBit Remastered simply by nature of being the only automatic pistol in the game at the moment. With a whopping 1100 fire rate, this pistol will mow down enemies in close-quarters combat.

While other pistols will undoubtedly outperform the Glock 18 at medium or long-range engagements, players will primarily be using their sidearm in an emergency situation, anyway. The Glock 18's unique automatic firing mode is enough to make it one of the best pistols in the game.

1 Desert Eagle

BattleBit Desert Eagle with a red dot sight attachment and compensator barrel attachment.

One of the most iconic pistols in video game history, the Desert Eagle stands head and shoulders above the rest of BattleBit Remastered's sidearms. This hand cannon does some of the highest single-shot damage in the game - firing 90 damage rounds - enough to out-damage most sniper rifles within its effective range.

The Desert Eagle also features even more armor punch through than the Rsh12, which is the one thing that revolver does better than the Unica; the Desert Eagle also reloads in half the time of the other heavy caliber pistols. The only massive downside of this pistol is the insanely high recoil, but experienced gamers will be able to mitigate that variable and use this sidearm to the best of its ability.
