Anyone who has played one or all entries from Rocksteady's Batman: Arkham franchise will know that there are many combat and stealth missions in each. Each installment offers more challenges than the last to test the player's mettle and expand their arsenal of skills. Batman: Arkham Knight is no different, but also offers unique AR tasks and short story-based DLCs for each of Batman's crime-fighting partners.

Batman: Arkham Knight allows players to tackle many of its Combat and Predator challenges as either Batman, Robin, Nightwing, Catwoman, Azrael, Harley Quinn, or Red Hood. This grants an immense amount of gameplay freedom for such challenges and lets players practice their skills with each character. Recently, a fan playing Batman: Arkham Knight as Robin managed to stumble upon a rare glitch.

Redditor pranklimulator has shared a couple different instances of them manipulating a glitch while in Batman: Arkham Knight's Predator stealth challenges as Robin. Two clips show pranklimulator incapacitating Arkham Knights’ militia thugs without so much as interacting with them. As Robin deactivates a sentry turret, nearby enemies glitch into a stealth takedown chokehold animation and are quickly taken down, which pranklimulator has referred to as "the force" since it is visually reminiscent of a Force choke from Star Wars.

It seems to occur seamlessly as long as the enemy is near a sentry turret while the player deactivates it, and the hitbox appears to expand so that the interaction takes out the enemy at the same. It is unclear if the glitch is only possible when playing as Robin or if it can be done with other playable Batman: Arkham Knight characters as well. The player has shared two distinct clips that show the glitch performed reliably in a separate Predator map, and states that it can also be done in other maps as well. Therefore, it is seemingly possible as long as the map contains sentry turrets.

The second clip shows that both a nearby thug and a thug further away both get affected by the glitched stealth takedown, which suggests that it affects any enemy on screen, though that is also currently undetermined. Now that it is seen as a reliable manipulation on stealth-oriented maps with sentry turrets, it will be interesting to see if any other exploits come from Batman: Arkham Knight. While Robin is not literally using the Force in these circumstances, it is still a hilarious term for the glitch that shows what Robin would look like as a Jedi Knight rather than a Gotham Knight.

Batman: Arkham Knight is available now on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
