The campfires are better known as shelters. While players can view their weapons and equipment at any time, they won't be able to upgrade them unless they are near a shelter. To upgrade a weapon in Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, players need to follow these steps:
- Approach the campfire and select Rest
- On the next screen, choose Inventory
- In the Inventory tab, scroll to the swords section
