Don't Nod has put a great deal of effort into Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden. There is a heavy focus on the story, which is why it is easy to spend hours without feeling bored. The other aspects of Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden are not bad either. There are five different regions in the game that players can explore at any time.

In the beginning, players won't be able to explore all the areas, mainly because they are blocked by either walls or ivy. To get rid of the destructible walls, players will have to find new Manifestations for Antea. Similarly, players will have to obtain a special power to remove creeping ivy, and it can only be unlocked after progressing through the main story.

Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden is full of tough choices, but, unlike most interactive stories, the most significant occurs long before the ending.

How To Remove Creeping Ivy In Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden

Creeping Vines cannot be removed until players get their hands on the Manifestation known as Ensnare, which isn't unlocked until after they complete the story mission in Fort Jericho or the Harrows. Both quests are quite long and require players to defeat challenging enemies.

You will obtain the Manifestation during a cutscene at the Shelter. With Ensnare being added to Antea's arsenal, players can finally start getting rid of the creeping ivy in New Eden. Unlike Outburst, this Manifestation is a bit more tricky to use. Here is how you can utilize Ensnare to remove the creeping ivy.

  • Approach a creeping ivy
  • Switch to Antea
  • Press and hold the L2/LT and aim toward the center of the creeping ivy
  • Once the button is released, you will see several Wisps emerge
  • Immediately take out Red's rifle and start shooting
  • After destroying both Wisps, the creeping ivy should be gone

An important thing that you should keep in mind while handling creeping ivy is that after the Wisps have been released, there is a short window during which you must shoot them. If you are unsuccessful, then you will have to repeat the process.

Sometimes the Wisps are not in the same place; they can be towards the left or right, depending on how far the ivy stretches. In such situations, you can use the first attempt to locate the Wisps. Then destroy them in the subsequent attempt.

Ensnared can also be used in combat by Entea to trap enemies in one place. This is especially useful against bigger enemies, as you can stop them from moving and land several devastating hits on them. It is important to remember that it has a cooldown, so players won't be able to spam it constantly.
