How To Get Rifle In Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden.
When players access their inventory in the early stages of the game, they will see a slot with "Rifle" written on it. However, they won't be able to obtain the item for a while. Players will first need to reach the Dark Woods storyline, in which they will have to help Kate deal with the problems involving her cook and the blacksmith.
Both the quests are rather straightforward, and all you have to do is gather all the clues. Then you will have to make two very important decisions that will contribute to Antea's Ascent or Resurrection. Once you are done with both quests, return to Kate and talk to her. Then players need to head back to their shelter and wait for Thickskin to return.
After meeting Thickskin, you will receive a new mission to kill the Beast that has been haunting the woods and killing people. Before sending players away, she will tell them to take the rifle from Kate.
Head to Kate's location and talk to her. She will be rather dissatisfied with her sister's demand. Complete the conversation with Kate, and you will receive the rifle.

To use the rifle, players have to press and hold the L2/LT button and then use the right analog stick to aim at the target. Once your aim has been set, press the R2/RT button to shoot. The rifle plays a crucial role in Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, as it is used to open new paths and kill enemies that are out of the reach of your sword. It is possible to upgrade the rifle, and you can do so by visiting a shelter.
