Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden has an incredible story that is filled with twists and turns. The game takes place in 1695 in New Eden. Players will take control of Red and Antea, two Banishers who travel to New Eden in hopes of helping their friend.

Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden is a fairly long game, and it will take around 30 hours to wrap up the main story. The number may be a bit higher or lower, depending on the difficulty you choose. It has a total of 16 main quests that must be completed to successfully finish the game. In each main quest, players will get the opportunity to make big decisions that will affect the ending of the game. Since the game has multiple endings, you can only go for one ending per playthrough. To achieve all of them, players will have to play the game several times.

The main quests contain information that will help players uncover the Nightmare's true identity and how it came into existence. So, it is advised to listen to the dialogue between the characters.

Aside from the main quests, players will have to delve into Haunting Cases, which not only give a great deal of EXP, but also offer an Essence as a reward. These Essences are needed to unlock new skills for Red and Antea. So, try to cover as many Haunting Cases as possible.

In addition to the reward, the decisions that you make in these Haunting Cases will affect whether Antea lives again or if she will Ascent. To resurrect Antea, players will have to choose the Blame option in the Haunting Cases. If you plan to help her reach her Ascent, then you will have to choose Ascend or Banish in these cases.
