After reuniting Antea and Red in Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden, players must guide the couple through a string of difficult choices that will affect their destinies. Following the Haunting Case of Benedict and Jacob, players will arrive at the settlement in the Dark Woods, which is led by Thickskin. Not long afterward, players will be given two requests to take care of.

One involves the blacksmith, while the other is linked to the cook. You can complete them in any order, and it doesn't affect the next segment of the main story. The cook's case is called Prudence In All Things. Players will have to look around Prudence's house and find all the clues related to the problem. Once you have gathered all the necessary information, it is time to decide what to do with Prudence and Thomas.

Should You Blame Prudence In Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden?

After obtaining every last bit of information, it is revealed that Prudence is a French spy, who betrayed the colony. She destroyed the food supplies, making the people suffer. Prudence was sabotaging the colony, which was already in a bad state.

If you blame Prudence, Red will take away her essence and kill her. This choice will affect Antea's resurrection and will help Red revive her later in Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden. Blaming Prudence also causes Thomas to run amok, so you will have to defeat him.

Should You Ascend Or Banish Thomas In Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden?

Thomas loved Prudence to the point where his ghost began to haunt her. He thought that he would help her get away from New Eden and start a new life elsewhere. If you Ascend Thomas, it will allow him to leave peacefully. This will count towards Antea's Ascent. Considering Thomas only thought of his wife's welfare, it makes more sense to Ascend him.

If you opt to Banish Thomas, it will be a more cruel process. Prudence won't be happy with Red's choice, and she will be visibly distraught. Banishing Thomas also adds to Antea's Ascent.

Prudence In All Things Reward

Prudence In All Things is one of the simpler Haunting Cases in Banishers: Ghosts of New Eden. You have to start by searching Prudence's house, and from there, you have to follow the hints until you have gathered the intent to perform a closure. After completing the quest, players will earn an Essence, which is needed to unlock new skills for Red and Antea.
