As reported by IGN, a recent update from Larian Studios' Director of Publishing Michael Douse has revealed that the physical version of Baldur's Gate 3 on Xbox will ship with Patch 5 included. The Xbox version of the massive game is set to include three discs and is currently expected to launch in December. The developer was not able to confirm the exact version for the launch of the PS5 physical edition. The physical version of Baldur's Gate 3 is currently exclusively available through Larian Studios' online store.

The inclusion of Patch 5 on the physical Xbox version of Baldur's Gate 3 follows a year filled with success for Larian Studios' revival of the classic franchise.
