She has a rather abrasive personality, not everyone can get accustomed to, and as such Lae'zel is left out in the cold by many players who refuse to pursue her personal character arc and her romance.

But, those who do pursue Lae'zel will realize there is more to Lae'zel than the Ice Queen persona she embodies at a surface level. Romancing her leads to a bond that lacks emotional depth at the start but those with the patience to pursue her, will gain the respect of the Githyanki warrior, and form a strong bond with her. This makes her one of the most underappreciated options, as most will give up on her right at the start.
