Baldur’s Gate 3 is holding a Twitch Drop campaign to celebrate its PC release. Players can earn this free set of Baldur’s Gate 3 camp cosmetics any time over the next couple of weeks.
After nearly three years in Early Access, Larian Studios’ next big RPG has finally been released on PC, with the PS5 release right around the corner. Baldur’s Gate 3 is already crashing Steam servers with its popularity, and is on track to become one of the biggest games of the year.
Now, Baldur’s Gate 3 is celebrating its launch on PC by giving away some free cosmetics. From now until August 17, players can watch two hours of any Twitch streamer in the Baldur’s Gate 3 category to earn a set of camp clothes. This violet-tinted outfit is reminiscent of Twitch’s iconic purple coloration, and the names of each item make clever puns about the streaming service. The charming set contains four pieces in total, and will make an excellent addition to any player’s wardrobe.
Here are the Twitch Drops for Baldur’s Gate 3:
- Streamhopper Loafers, a pair of fancy dark purple shoes.
- Channeler’s Trunks, a set of fashionable underwear with a silver pattern on it.
- Periwinkle Undergarments, which are exactly what they sound like.
- Chatterbox Tabard, two different puffy purple shirts and matching blue trousers.
To earn these Twitch Drops, players must first connect their Larian and Twitch accounts. Players can do so quickly and easily through the Larian Studios website here. Once they have finished connecting their accounts, players can watch any of these streams for two hours. After they claim their reward from their inventory, the items should appear in game.
Camp clothes are a cosmetic system in Baldur’s Gate 3 that allows one to set up a different outfit to wear around camp and in certain other places in the game. These cosmetics don’t have stats or benefits associated with them besides fashion, so fans can safely wear whatever outfits they like the most. Once they find more clothes throughout the game, either through looting or during shopping trips, they can mix and match the pieces to create the perfect off-duty outfits.
Baldur’s Gate 3 has received excellent reviews across the board, and players are loving what they have seen of the game so far. Whether fans of Divinity: Original Sin 2, Dungeons and Dragons, or RPGs in general, gamers won’t want to miss out on this top contender for Game of the Year.
