A Baldur’s Gate 3 player online has shared their awesome build, which turns Tav into Black Widow from the Marvel Cinematic Universe. The vast array of builds that players have been creating since the launch of Baldur’s Gate 3 is extremely impressive, and the community shows no signs of slowing down in this regard.

From day one of Baldur’s Gate 3, the community has been sharing its amazing builds in-game. The game gives players the tools to craft their perfect character, and the versatility means that repeat playthroughs with different builds are almost guaranteed. Naturally, gamers are sharing their best builds online, with many recreating their favorite characters from other franchises. One Baldur’s Gate 3 player even recreated X-Men’s Gambit, showing how Marvel characters are often popular choices for these kinds of builds.

Dedicated Baldur's Gate 3 fan and Twitch streamer Rudeism has created a controller based on the design of the Mysterious Artefact.

TikTok user finalparty shared their amazing build, which allows gamers to roleplay as Black Widow in Baldur’s Gate 3. The build starts out as a Baldur’s Gate 3 Rogue, taking the Urchin background, with skill proficiencies in Acrobatics, Sleight of Hand, and Stealth. The build later multiclasses into a Monk, using dual-wielded crossbows to simulate Black Widow’s pistols. Given the limitations in Baldur’s Gate 3’s character builder, it’s a pretty awesome recreation of the character.

It would be interesting to see how much further this particular build could be taken using Baldur’s Gate 3 mods. The modding scene for the game is continuing to grow, and with it, the potential for even more amazing builds increases. Players could also perhaps follow the steps shown in the TikTok, and use mods themselves to enhance this Black Widow Baldur’s Gate 3 build.

With Larian Studios confirming it won’t be releasing any DLC for Baldur’s Gate 3, it will be interesting to see how the franchise fares going forward. The developer was a large part of the reason the game was a roaring success, with its previous experience crafting detailed CRPGs proving invaluable to making Baldur’s Gate 3 one of the very best games of 2023. Hasbro has already confirmed that a new Baldur’s Gate game will eventually be released, but there will no doubt be some hesitation for a title with Larian at the helm. Any new Baldur’s Gate will always be compared to Larian’s previous effort, fairly or unfairly, and it’ll take an impressive title to avoid unfavorable comparisons, so Hasbro will have to choose its next developer very carefully.
