The Jack-of-all-Trades achievement in Baldur's Gate 3 instructs players to multiclass into every class in one playthrough without asking Withers to change their character. While it is certainly possible to earn this achievement without any tricks, it does require fans to invest in a fairly non-traditional playthrough. For those players that are not interested pursuing such a playthrough, but still want to earn the achievement, this guide details a method that can be used to "cheese" Jack-of-all-Trades in Baldur's Gate 3.
Baldur's Gate 3: How to Earn Jack-of-all-Trades Achievement (Easy)
There are two methods that can be used to very easily earn the Jack-of-all-Trades achievement in Baldur's Gate 3. The first is to leave a companion untouched until the main character reaches Level 12, at which point players should add the companion to their party. Fans will then have the opportunity to take that companion from Level 1 to Level 12, and they should simply opt to "add class" each level to quickly claim the achievement.
The second way to "cheese" the Jack-of-all-Trades achievement is very similar to the first, though this time players will be using a hireling. For the uninitiated, hirelings are companions that can be obtained from Withers in camp, at a cost of 100 Gold, and they can be immediately taken to Level 12 if the player's main character has already reached that level cap in Baldur's Gate 3. Again, fans should make sure to "add class" each time that they take their hireling up a level in order to multiclass into all 12 classes and claim the achievement.
Baldur's Gate 3: Jack-of-all-Trades Achievement Build

Indeed, this RPG-focused content creator has successfully completed a Jack-of-all-Trades playthrough, and he details the Baldur's Gate 3 build that he used within it.
To provide a quick summary of Mortismal Gaming's approach to the achievement, ranged weapons were his primary offensive tools, which led him to make Dexterity his highest stat. That said, the inherent weakness of a character built in this way means that combat is unlikely to be the best option in most instance, and the content creator looked to avoid it when possible. This meant putting some points into Charisma, and its associated skills, and Baldur's Gate 3 players that are attempting a jack-of-all-trades playthrough should definitely know how to talk their way out of sticky situations.
