This item plays a huge role in Karlach Companion Quest as players must collect it to try and tame Karlach's raging engine. Blighted Village
Baldur's Gate 3 players can find one Infernal Iron in the basement of a building at coordinates X:37 Y:420 within the Blighted Village. Upon entering this building, players should use fire to clear the large calcified web on the ground and then jump into the hole. Fans should then climb the nearby ladder and lockpick the chest on the platform to claim the material.

Shattered Sanctum (Goblin Camp)
The Shattered Sanctum is entered through the Heavy Oak Door at coordinates X:-106 Y:454 within the Goblin Camp, and there is an Infernal Iron at the north end of the map. More specifically, the material can be looted from the Treasure Crates that are beyond the locked Iron Gate in Dror Ragzlin's room (X:297 Y:61). Players can bypass that gate with lockpicking or with the help of Dror Ragzlin's Key, which can be looted from this goblin leader's body after he has been dispatched.
Zhentarim Hideout
Players can enter the Zhentarim Basement through a hatch in a building in northwest Waukeen’s Rest (X:-127 Y:617). After accessing the basement, players should interact with the Wardrobe at X:382 Y:-260 to reveal a hidden staircase, which leads into the Zhentarim Hideout. In the Hideout, fans should head northward to an Iron Gate and pick the lock. Fans will encounter two trapped chests beyond that gate, and they will find an Infernal Iron after disarming the trap and opening the container on the right with a lockpick.
Grymforge
There is a boat in Baldur's Gate 3's Underdark that players can use to reach Grymforge. Fans will find Stonemason Kith, a Duergar merchant, near that location's Waypoint, and he will provide an Infernal Iron to those that can pass a History, Investigation, or Perception check.
