According to Larian Studios, Baldur's Gate 3 will take about 75 to 100 hours for most players to complete a single playthrough, on average. Baldur's Gate 3, like Larian's other games, is set up to be an absolutely massive RPG that should give fans of the genre their money's worth and then some.

Recently, Larian has been touting just how big Baldur's Gate 3 is, and based on what's been claimed so far, hardcore fans are going to be playing this one for quite some time. Besides the fact that it will apparently take most players on an average about 75 to 100 hours to finish a playthrough of the game, it was recently claimed that Baldur's Gate 3 has about 174 hours worth of cutscenes in total for those that want to see everything.

Of course, completionists are going to spend a ton more time in Baldur's Gate 3 than others. Those that want to do everything in the game can expect to spend double the amount of time playing it, so around 200 hours. This is all according to Swen Vincke, who recently spoke about the game to IGN. Vincke also pointed out how Baldur's Gate 3 has a ton of replay value thanks to the various races, classes, player choices, and more to take into account.

Having a ton of content is one thing, but having all that content also be high quality is another. Larian's track record speaks for itself, and fan feedback has been largely positive from those that have been playing Baldur's Gate 3 in early access. Luckily, those who are excited to dive into the massive world of Baldur's Gate 3 don't have to wait all that much longer, especially if they are playing on PC.

Baldur's Gate 3's release date plans recently got a major shake-up, with the PC version moved ahead and the PS5 version getting a slight delay. Now those playing Baldur's Gate 3 on PC can jump in on August 3, while those playing on PS5 will get to see what all the fuss is about come September 6.

The Baldur's Gate 3 new PS5 release date is an interesting one, as it puts it in direct competition with Bethesda's Starfield on Xbox. But while Starfield is expected to remain an Xbox exclusive, Baldur's Gate 3 will likely come to Xbox at some point. There's even a chance that Baldur's Gate 3 will hit Xbox by the end of the year, but fans will have to stay tuned for more information on that front.
