Your party can save Mayrina from a dreadful situation in Act 1 of Baldur's Gate 3. While she may not be happy about it at the time, she will come around by Act 3 when you come to her rescue one more time. This is the last act of the campaign, where you will reach Rivington and, finally, the grand city of Baldur's Gate. Many of the consequences of your early choices will finally pay off in rewards or new enemies.

It's up to your group of adventurers to muster up powerful allies for the final confrontation. Mayrina, and potentially her husband if you choose to revive him, make another appearance in the Lower City portion of Baldur's Gate. Follow this guide to lift the curse that has turned Mayrina into a sheep in Baldur's Gate 3.

Find the Hag Survivors

While exploring the city, you may come upon posters talking about a group of Hag Survivors. This group is stationed in the crumbling building that is Old Garlow's Place, deep south in the Lower City part of Baldur's Gate. It is situated between the Counting House and Felogyr's Fireworks. You will find it near the coordinates (X: -59, Y: -141.)

This new group is led by Adrielle. They will suspect you of being an agent for the Hag when first arriving. Pass a persuasion check, otherwise you will have to fight them. Convince them you are not a threat, and they will tell you Mayrina is upstairs afflicted by a curse. Head upstairs to find Mayrina transformed into a sheep that makes all the wrong animal noises. Her husband will be alongside her if he has been revived.

Solution #1: Help Mayrina by Killing Jatko

Jatlo speaks to the party

If you are forced to fight the survivors and do not want to kill them, focus on Jatko. Doing so will reveal that he is actually a redcap enemy working for the Hag. You can also attack him if you convince the group you're friendly to reveal his true form. If he is not killed after a single turn, he will summon armored crabs. Quickly kill these crabs to save the remaining Hag survivors. Defeat him and the spell will be broken turning Mayrina back to normal.

Solution #2: Help Mayrina by Destroying the Doll

If you don't want to brute force the situation, you can inspect the upstairs room to find a strange laughing doll. Attempting to pick it up will make it teleport. Attack the doll with your strongest character to lift the curse. It has 30 health, but every time you strike it, Mayrina will lose 1 health point. She only has 8 HP, which gives you eight chances to defeat it before she is killed. Simply look and listen for its laughter when it teleports after each strike to finish it off. It will not teleport outside the top floor of the building.

Solution #3: Help Mayrina by Using Remove Curse

The simplest way to transform her back is by using the Remove Curse Spell. This is a spell that your druids, warlocks, clerics, and wizards should have learned very early on. Prepare the spell in your spellbook and cast it on the sheep to transform her back.
