The accolades only add to Larian Studios' overflowing trophy case for Baldur's Gate 3, which is equally popular among fans. Baldur's Gate 3 currently sits at an Overwhelmingly Positive rating of 96% on Steam despite having over 500,000 user reviews. The game's remarkable consistency among fans and critics has made it the most decorated title in recent memory. Other DICE Awards winners include Marvel's Spider-Man 2 for Action Game of the Year, The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom for Adventure Game of the Year, and Diablo 4 for Online Game of the Year.

Baldur's Gate 3 just released its Patch 6 today on February 16, which includes animation improvements, new camp idle animations, new Legendary Actions in Honour Mode, bug fixes, and more. Patch 6 comes in at 21 GB for console users, while Steam users will need a whopping 150 GB of free storage space to download the update. Alternatively, Steam users can uninstall Baldur's Gate 3 and reinstall the patched version of the game, which will require much less total storage space.

Baldur's Gate 3's DLC Possibilities

Now that it's been six months since the release of Baldur's Gate 3, it's possible that DLC may finally appear on the horizon in the near future. Back in August, a Larian Studios senior manager confirmed that the company "want[s] to do more" in regard to post-launch content for Baldur's Gate 3. However, he also emphasized that the studio wanted to focus on support patches and on eventually taking a much-needed vacation following the game's long development. Now that 2024 is well underway, fans might see more DLC hints in the coming months. However, at this point, this is still only speculation.
