Baldur's Gate 3 sends players into the Shadow Cursed Lands during Act 2. This large area has been affected by the Shadow Curse. Traveling without a torch in Baldur's Gate 3 will damage your party, and some areas require something stronger. Your first goal should be heading to the Last Light Inn and finding a way to travel through the Shadow Curse.
Once you've met Isabel or acquired a Moonlantern it's time to explore the Shadow Cursed Lands before heading to the Moonrise Towers and confronting your enemy. If you investigate the Last Light Inn further, you may get wind of a hidden treasure in the towers. Here is where to find it.

Baldur's Gate 3 Player Creates Gordon Ramsay in the Game
A Baldur's Gate 3 player takes advantage of the game's character creation tool to make the famous British chef Gordon Ramsay.
Investigate the Selunite Resistance
Find the chest at the abandoned potter's workshop located at X:-54 Y:12 to get the "Investigate the Selunite Resistance" Quest. Explore the cellar underneath the Last Light Inn and break through a cracked wall in one of the cells. Fight the frightening new enemies to find Halfred's note. Then, investigate the Mason's Guild on the eastern side of the Shadow Cursed Lands. Find the Mason's Log to learn he has hidden a small treasure in the Moonrise Towers and regrets the work he has done.
Infiltrate Moonrise Towers
There are multiple ways to go about getting inside the Moonrise Towers. It is recommended that you clear out the entirety of the area before moving on. You can attack the towers alongside the Harpers or enter beforehand as a friend to its evil inhabitants.
Hidden Treasure Location
However you get inside the towers, the hidden treasure will be marked on your map after completing the "Investigate the Selunite Resistance" sidequest. The treasure is located in the southwestern corner of the towers. Head straight in from the main entrance, then go to the right, past the stairs that lead down into the Moonrise Towers Prison.
How to Acquire the Hidden Treasure
Continue through the room with all the bunk beds to exit outside. Turn to your left to find some planks of wood leading to a cracked wall. If there is Holy Fire on the ground nearby, you should avoid it so your party doesn't receive any radiant damage. Destroy the cracked wall to find the chest. Open it to receive some gold, a pearl, and a scroll of Planar Binding. This will remove the hidden treasure from your map.
