Players can save many NPCs in Baldur's Gate 3 with relatively little actual cost. Oftentimes, it just involves succeeding on a few skill checks or attacking nearby enemies. However, there are a few times when the NPC in danger requires a very specific type of assistance that can be extremely rare or expensive.

There is a Deep Gnome in Baldur's Gate 3 named Thulla who has been poisoned. Unfortunately, she needs a specific antitoxin and that can be difficult to acquire. Players can get it for her but there are multiple ways to bring Thulla back from the brink.

The simplest way to heal Thulla is with the Lesser Restoration spell. Be warned that this will use up a second-level spell slot. There is a guaranteed Duergar Antidote on Gekh Coal toward the south. He's not keen on giving it away but if gamers have sided with Myconids and are playing through a neutral or good-aligned campaign, then they'll be swinging through this area soon enough. Getting into the Underdark will through different entrances can make this journey quicker.

As a final option, a standard antitoxin will also work. However, these can't be guaranteed. Those who have potions will likely have one or two by this time if they don't drink them personally. Vendors can also sometimes sell this product.

Baldur's Gate 3 is available now for PC. The PlayStation 5 version will be available on September 6th, 2023. A version for Xbox Series X/S is still in development.
