The Druid Grove of Baldur's Gate 3 is home to the Druids and, for a temporary bit, a large group of wandering Tieflings. Yet of all the animals players can communicate with, there is a rat with a chipped tooth that demands the player's assistance in getting revenge.

This interaction can be done through body language or through direct communication using the Speak With Animals spell. Baldur's Gate 3 is great about giving players choices like this. Unfortunately, what looks to be a simple quest gets complicated when a Tiefling with broken legs blocks the Pantry Chest that contains the "evil" that the rat wants to be removed.

Updated on November 8th, 2023: There are a lot of hidden areas and NPCs to discover if players are willing to explore every possible nook and cranny in Baldur's Gate 3. One great example is Padirna in BG3, who is in a rather "off the beaten path area" where she finds herself stuck. Players can help heal her wounds if they know how. To better help players with what they can do to heal Padirna in Baldur's Gate 3 and secure a useful chest behind her, the following guide has been updated with a video.

This article divulges consequences within the game and reveals information the player's character may not know. Gamers committed to role-playing may wish to stop reading and find these things out for themselves.

Getting Into The Pantry Chest

Baldur's Gate 3 Using The Lesser Restoration Spell On Padirna

  • Use the Stealth skill from right behind Padirna.
  • Open the Pantry Chest and remove the key.

Combat conditions in Baldur's Gate 3 are typically negative and applied by a combat ability, and there are a lot of these Status Effects in the game.

Just getting to the Pantry Chest is difficult. Save the game and make sure the Tiefling pacing her belongings is facing the wrong way. If things go badly, reload the save. The Tiefling inside will notice the break-in but is not in any condition to report it to the guards.

Baldur's Gate 3 Blind Spot For Padirna

She's suffering the ill effects of a homemade potion. Use any spell that heals paralysis on Padirna. Lesser Restoration is likely the simplest to use. If the player character doesn't have it, switch party members to Shadowheart who has access to this spell as soon as she can cast level two spells. This is an abjuration spell, so Bards, Druids, Paladins, and Rangers may also have access to the spell.

Once recovered, she is friendly but will still alert the guards if anybody touches anything in this storage room. She has a blind spot in the corner of the room. Open the chest from Stealth to take the key. This key is what chipped the rat's tooth and taking it will satisfy his thirst for vengeance. When playing with friends, have the party member with the highest Stealth skill perform this maneuver.

Baldur's Gate 3 is available now for PC. The PlayStation 5 version will be available on September 6th, 2023. A version for Xbox Series X/S is still in development.
