How to Find the Bhaalist Armor Set

Echo of Abazigal in BG3

The only way to obtain the Bhaalist Armor Set in Baldur's Gate 3 is to purchase it from the unique Echo of Abazigal merchant during Act 3. Players can find this NPC in the Murder Tribunal, in the Baldur's Gate City Sewers. Everything would be much simpler if the only thing needed was money, but there is one more essential requirement. Echo of Abazigal will only spawn in Murder Tribunal if the player sides with Bhaal and accepts the title of Unholy Assassin.

Achieving these requirements will become an impossible goal if you choose a more peaceful and honest gameplay and team. In this case, you can forget about the unique armor set. However, if you are ready to become an Unholy Assassin, you will have to follow the next steps:

  • First of all, players need to get to Act 3 and complete the Open Hand Temple Murders and Investigate the Murders quests.
  • During the Investigate the Murders quest, you must defeat Dolor and take his Handbag, which contains several Severed Hands. You can also get these trophies earlier in the game, but in fact, you only need one hand.
  • Next, you should head to Candulhallow's Tombstones. To find the secret entrance, players must go to the small building northeast of Elfsong Tavern.   • During the first test, the ritualists will summon the soul of the enemy who died at your hands, and you only need to choose the option of how you killed it. Say that you cut off its hand from its body, killed it with a smile on your face, or killed it slowly and painfully. Any option will be accepted favorably by the sectarians.
  • The second test involves killing Investigator Valeria. You won't have to look for her since she is already captured by the cultists. It is the hardest moral choice of this path since before, you only had to lie. But if you take her life, you will become the Unholy Assassin of Bhaal.

After completing all these steps, players need to return to the main chamber of the Murder Tribunal and explore the room. You will find several NPCs, one of which is Echo of Abazigal, a Dragonborn Bhaalspawn. The blood-covered creature doesn't inspire much confidence, but its wares are damn good.
