In Act 1 of Baldur's Gate 3, players can intervene to help a young tiefling named Arabella, who steals an idol from the Druid Grove and gets threatened by its current leader. Players who complete this quest can come across her in Act 2, and sadly, she's once again found herself in trouble.

Arabella goes with the tiefling refugees between acts, and things don't go well for them in general. However, Arabella gets separated from the tieflings who escape to the Last Light Inn and those who get captured, which means the only way to find her during this part of Baldur's Gate 3 is to come across her in the wilderness.

Some vital decisions in Baldur's Gate 3's Act 2 can determine the fates of characters and the future of the narrative.

Updated on January 30, 2024, by Nahda Nabiilah: Arabella can be found in the Shadow-Cursed Land region looking for her parents in Baldur’s Gate 3. Apparently, there was an attack, and she was told to run away and then regroup with them later. However, some time has passed and Arabella doesn’t see any sign of her parents. Upon meeting her next to the graveyard, you need to search the surrounding area and look for the missing tieflings while the little girl waits for you at the camp.

Arabella is on the west side of the Shadow-Cursed Land region. She's in the area afflicted by the stronger Shadow Curse, so Baldur's Gate 3 players who want to find her should have a Moonlantern or the Pixie's Blessing to protect themselves.

Specifically, the girl is waiting for the party at the southern entrance to the graveyard. This location is also east of the House of Healing, west of the Mason's Guild, and north of the town square with the large statue.

Players may be surprised to see Arabella in such a hostile location, but it turns out she unlocked some new powers after touching the druids' idol in the last act. She's in the area looking for her parents, but she'll allow the party to take over if they helped her earlier. In fact, she'll head to the party campsite, and she'll refuse to go to the Last Light Inn if players mention it. Allowing her to go to camp is the only way to begin this quest.

As it turns out, Arabella's parents, Locke and Komira, aren't far away. Players can find them in the east wing of the House of Healing, which is immediately west of Arabella's location. The map below shows their exact position.

One of the undead residents, Sister Lidwin, is looking after the two tieflings, but they're already dead. Baldur's Gate 3 players can roll a Sleight of Hand or Deception check to convince Lidwin to sell the party healing supplies, but doing so isn't necessary for this quest.

Instead, players must head to camp, where they can find Anabelle hanging out with Withers. Anabelle doesn't take the news well, and players must take a long rest before they can speak to her again. Once they do, Anabelle will be calm enough to reward the party with the Shadow Blade Ring, a magic item that lets the wearer cast the second-level spell Shadow Blade.

Later on, Anabelle will also teach the protagonist Anabelle's Shadow Entangle, a special version of Entangle that only works on undead and shadow creatures. This is especially useful in this region since party members don't count as either and it doesn't consume a spell slot.
