This has perhaps added to the growing number of players who have experienced the open beta thus far as a cheeky marketing tactic. But however fans managed to get into Back 4 Blood's early access beta, there have already been staggering numbers for the game's concurrent PC player counts on Steam over the course of the last few days.
SteamDB charts and statistics depict how much traffic Back 4 Blood has received during its early access beta weekend. Back 4 Blood's concurrent player count for the weekend topped out at 98,024 on Saturday, August 7. Of course, there is always the potential that this evening's players could dethrone that peak player count. Back 4 Blood's first open beta weekend is continuing to go strong with 69,517 players actively in-game at the time of this writing, so it is entirely plausible that its player count could rise further before it ends.
