Jeff (he/him) is an Evergreen Editor at Game ZXC and former Evergreen Lead at DualShockers. He's been writing mini video game reviews for his friends ever since High School. He graduated with his MFA in Popular Fiction, and he's edited a variety of genres ever since — from fiction novels to scientific articles and everything in between. Favorite Games

Where to begin? I enjoy a pretty wide variety of games. I adore Soulsborne/Soulslike games, metroidvanias, narrative-driven AAA action-adventures, and creative indies. Some favorite games that hold a special place in my heart: The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, Bloodborne, Alan Wake 2, Starcraft, Mass Effect 2, Hollow Knight, Pyre, and God of War.

Industry Focus

My main focus is in leading our Evergreen editors and writers to craft premium guide and list content for our readers to enjoy. This primarily revolves around covering hot new video game releases, but I've also had the chance to review some incredible titles like God of War Ragnarok, Tears of the Kingdom, and Alan Wake 2.

Favorite Console

I'm the youngest of 4, and I was extremely fortunate to grow up with access to an Atari 2600, NES, and Sega Genesis, but the first console that really felt like mine was the Nintendo 64. The previous consoles instilled in me a love for video games, but the N64 was the first console that I actively wanted for myself. As far as my preferred platforms go, I spend most of my time on the PS5 (I just adore the Dualsense controller), though I love playing on the go with my Switch and playing new Game Pass releases on my Xbox Series X.
