Every class in BG3 brings something unique to the table. In every party, it's essential to cover a number of roles: stealth, melee, ranged attacks, and support, to name a few possibilities. The game's companions cover a wide range of classes, but there are no restrictions on which one the Tav/Durge can choose. Personally, I love playing a Bard Tav. The dialogue options are always entertaining, and the class has a wide range of options when it comes to support spells for the party.

Although it's controversial, I'd also like to see how Ruby's journey as an orphan finding her identity impacts the Doctor's feelings and actions regarding his own origin as the Timeless Child.
