About Christopher Francis

Oliver is a writer on GameZXC in his early twenties with who focuses on media and gaming - he completed his Bachelor's degree in English Literature and Creative Writing and is currently working towards a Master's in English Literature. His studies are particularily centered on 20th century speculative fiction and its influences. During his Undergrad, he focused on writing short films portraying the slow breakdowns of relationships.

In his spare time, Oliver enjoys reading, writing and gaming - his favourite games include RPGs such as Dragon Age, Disco Elysium, and Morrowind, but really he enjoys anything with a melancholy vibe. Aside from RPGs, he also enjoys farming and life simulators.

Oliver spends the majority of his time writing. He is currently busy writing his dissertation, but is usually working on several writing projects at a time, ranging from screenplays to short story collections - he hopes to finally complete something one day.

Favorite Games

My favourite games are probably the Dragon Age games - I played them when I was young and they had a big impact on me. Since then, I've always enjoyed CRPGs, or any RPG where it feels as though the player's choices have an impact on the plot.

Proudest Gaming Achievement

My proudest achievement in gaming is probably reaching ten years in Stardew Valley - other people have probably gone further but I put everything into that farm.

Favorite Console

While I prefer gaming on my PC, my favourite console is probably my Switch - I like having something small that I can use before bed.
