Mexican-born writer Bruno D. Cervera has loved gaming ever since he haphazardly held the NES controller, almost 30 years ago. With an academic background in Literature, his professional life has revolved around stories for over a decade, whether through writing, academic research, translation, or education. Always seeking out the next interesting thing, Bruno is a passionate lover of mythology, language, and shiny swords in RPGs. He is happy to finally give back to the site that has helped him get unstuck in so many games throughout the years.

Proudest Gaming Achievement

Certainly that one time I was able to defuse an acute mental health crisis by showing a student how to play Super Mario Run. Gaming can save lives, y'all!

Favorite Games

Lord of the Rings: Return of the King holds a special place in my heart, as I played extensively with my dad and brother. They never let me choose Aragorn, though.

Otherwise, I am quite obsessed with Alan Wake and wish Sam Lake would be my friend.

Favorite Console

PC, hands down. Nothing against consoles —I'm slowly gathering more and more of them— but the customization options of a good gaming PC cannot be understated. Also, I like to mod Skyrim until its unplayable, and my PC is ideal for that.
