Levi and Kenny had a turbulent relationship, due to the latter's violent and sadistic tendencies, as well as the difficult times they endured in the Underground beneath the city of Mitras. After the death of his sister Kuchel, Kenny swore to raise Levi as his own child and even taught him how to fight and take care of himself.

However, at a certain point, Kenny abandoned Levi, as he felt that he was unfit to be a parent. Although there was some bad blood between the pair, Levi did seem to care for him, as he was the closest thing he had to a real parental figure.

6 Eren Yeager

A Pupil Turned Enemy

Eren Yeager Attack On Titan-2
  • First Appearance: Season 1, Episode 1

One of the most complex relationships Levi has in the series is the one he shares with Eren. At first, Levi was impressed by Eren's determination, but had little respect for him, and violently threatened Eren to keep him in order. Over time, he grew to trust Eren's judgment and took him under his wing while playing the role of a mentor.

Sadly, Eren's actions in Liberio followed by his activation of The Rumbling left Levi disheartened, as his former subordinate became the perpetrator of a global genocide. In the end, he hardened his resolve and decided to kill Eren, letting go of his attachment despite all the things he wanted to say to him.
