Part 1 of the Final Season was packed with notable events such as Eren Jaeger’s betrayal, Zeke Jaeger’s spinal fluid, and the shocking ending of the rematch between Captain Levi and Zeke Jaeger, the Beast Titan. However, it seems Part 1 really served as a prelude since it pales down to the occurrences in Part 2. So, before the true “finale” of Attack on Titan is released, here’s a list of the best moment from the Final Season Part 2.

10 Eren’s Fight With Multiple Titans And Marley Troops

Part 2 of Attack on Titan opened with a remarkable battle between the Marleyans and Eren. Commandeered by General Magath, Marelyan troops were out for Eren’s blood to avenge their dead comrades. If Eren’s battle was with just troops, the fight would have been a regular one; however, Eren was attacked by the trio: the Armored Titan, the Jaw Titan, and the Cart Titan.

Despite the overwhelming circumstances, Eren still dealt fatal damage to his opponents, especially after using the War Hammer Titan's abilities to impale Reiner and Marleyan troops. Unfortunately, for Marley's soldiers, the fight was already a pre-planned step for Zeke’s arrival on the scene.

9 The Flashback To The Survey Corps Happy Moments During Their Arrival At Marley

The final episode of Part 2 offered a change of pace from the constant battle-riddled moments in Attack on Titan. The episode started by showing the Survey Corps on an undercover mission Marley. Dazed at the prospect of seeing and tasting new things, members like Sasha visibly expressed their excitement.

However, the peak moment in this episode was Eren’s inquiry to Mikasa about why she cares about him. Stumped, Mikasa could not answer, and the duo was interrupted by a happy-looking man, who led them to a hearty feast. For the first time in a while, in this episode, the characters in Attack on Titan were portrayed as genuinely happy.

8 The Death Of Theo Magath And Keith Shadis

One of the central themes of Attack on Titan is the trans-generational conflict between Eldia and Marley – a conflict that existed for over two hundred years. The people of Marley framed Paradis inhabitants as Devils, while the Eldians viewed Marleyans as a necessary evil they must eliminate. However, Theo and Keith’s final moments rocked the series’ foundation despite the long-standing rivalry.

Despite coming from different worlds, the two commanders who taught their students how to fight died on their behalf. Surprisingly, Theo and Keith were also able to let go of their hate and sacrifice themselves for a greater cause: Eren’s Defeat.

7 Marley and Paradis Alliance

After escaping from the Jaegerists – a group of fanatic individuals led by Floch, wholly supportive of Eren’s genocidal goal, the citizens of Paradis and Marley soldiers eventually found a decent hideout to converse and strategize. Understandably, both groups clashed with each other; Theo Magath stubbornly stuck to calling Eldians "the Devils of Paradis."

Later on, after a series of events, such as Jean’s blow-up, Gabi's, and Theo's heartfelt apology, both groups reached the conclusion that Eren was a necessary evil that must be defeated. Their agreement was a pivotal moment since this was the first time Marley and Eldia cooperated to achieve a similar goal.

6 The Battle With The Jaegerists

After it was established that the Jaegerists were thorns that prevented Marley and Paradis from stopping Eren – Theo Magath and Hange Zoe set up a full-proof plan to assemble the Azumabito – a group of mechanics responsible for manning the escape shop’s engine. Initially, the plan was supposed to be one without unnecessary bloodshed.

However, Floch’s sharp intuition prevented that from happening, and soon, an intense battle ensued between the Jaegerists and the Marley-Eldia team. Reiner, the Armored Titan, and Annie, the Female Titan, dealt deathly blows to the Jaegerists. Even Falco's new-found Jaw Titan power wreaked havoc in the battle, making the outcome unpredictable.

5 When Zeke Turned Eldians And Falco Into Titans

In Part One of Attack on Titan, Yelena offered Marleyan wine to Eldians, unsuspecting of its origin and content. Unknown to Yelena, the wine was mixed with Zeke's spinal fluid. This spinal fluid was an ingredient in Zeke's plan for usurping Paradis' military. Most importantly, Zeke’s spinal fluid contains special properties that allow him to turn the people who consume it into titans.

In Part One of the Final Season, Zeke made no moves to utilize his fluids’ potential; however, this changed when he met Eren after he single-handedly battled Marleyan troops. On his arrival, Zeke turned all Paradis citizens that ingested his fluid into mindless titans, including Falco – a Warrior Candidate.

4 The Secret Behind The Attack Titan, Unveiled

With every new season of Attack on Titan, new daunting secrets are unfolded. The secret behind the Attack Titan was one such secret. The episode "Memories of the Future" showed Zeke taking Eren through his old memories to ascertain that Grish Jaeger was a horrible man. After a few scenes, Zeke discovered a shocking revelation: The Attack Titan could see past and future memories of other Attack Titans.

Consequently, Eren was the true manipulator behind most events, not his father, Grisha Jaeger. In other words, Eren wasn't controlled by his father – a big shocker for Zeke, who had been in the dark all this time. Certainly, this iconic scene was one of the best moments in Attack on Titan.

3 When Gabi Accurately Sniped Eren

Gabi gathered a lot of intense dislike from most Attack on Titan fans since she killed one of the central, much-loved characters in AOT, Sasha. However, despite her past actions, Gabi's sniping skills shocked fans again. After Zeke's arrival on the battleground littered with Marleyan corpses, Eren decided to leave his Attack Titan form to contact Zeke.

The main purpose of his action was to claim the Founding Titan’s power and proceed with the euthanization plan. However, during this critical moment, Gabi accurately sniped Eren, detaching his head from his body – a mind-blowing scene that reflected Attack on Titan’s unpredictability.

2 Activation Of The Rumbling

After Gabi sniped Eren, Zeke still managed to establish a link with Eren. Next, the scene changed to reveal Eren and Zeke in a location known as the Coordinate – the home of the Founding Titan, Ymir. After Eren unmasked his true intention and Zeke tried to show Eren how he was played by his father, Attack on Titan revealed the story behind Ymir. Ymir was the servant of King Fritz, and she gained her power by linking her body with the spine of an otherworldly Titan.

Eren managed to convince Ymir to leave her Fritz-imposed servitude and think for herself. Ymir listened to Eren and granted him the Founding Titan's power, leading to Eren's unleashing of the Colossal Titans within The Wall. Through his newly-gained power, Eren communicated with all Eldians telepathically, swearing to wipe out everyone in the world, so Eldians could be safe. Undoubtedly, this intense scene is one of the best moments in Attack on Titan.

1 The Rumbling’s Approach To Marley’s Shoreline

After Eren's genocidal declaration, AOT focused on other developments, such as the battle with Jaegerists and the Marley-Eldian alliance. However, in Part 2 of the Final Season’s last episode, “Dawn of Humanity,” the series depicted a mind-numbing scene of the Rumbling approaching Marley’s shoreline.

Understandably, the Rumbling was met with opposition from Marley, with hundreds of warships ready to bring down the movement. Sadly, their efforts were futile as Eren crushed Marley's troops like a bread knife slicing through cake. The numerous Colossal Titans signaled the doom of Marley, and fans can only wait and see what the next season of Attack on Titan will hold for Marley and the world.
