Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & The Secret Fairy, a Koei Tecmo game, is a direct sequel to its predecessor, taking place 3 years later; not only is protagonist Ryza making a return, but others are as well. The trailer reveals that Klaudia Valentz, the merchant's daughter who adventured with Ryza in the first game, is coming back - while more old companions are also promised, Klaudia is the only revealed thus far. A new companion has also been revealed for Ryza: a mysterious creature known as Fi that doesn't speak, but bonds quickly with Ryza and helps her in her pursuit of answers concerning the lost legends.

This sequel takes place in the Royal Capital of Ashra-am Baird, as Ryza explores ancient ruins and seeks the truth behind the meaning of the lost legends; the trailer offers some more insight into the new abilities that Ryza will gain over the course of the game. In addition, players who purchase a physical or digital copy of the game within the first two weeks of release will be given an Early Purchase Bonus code for the Summer Fashion Costume Set.

Little was known about the Atelier Ryza sequel before this trailer launched, and interested players should be gratified to learn a little more about the game before it releases.

Atelier Ryza 2: Lost Legends & The Secret Fairy releases in the winter of 2020 for PC, PS4, and Switch.
