Recently, Sony held a State of Play livestream to reveal some exciting stuff to look forward to for PS5 owners. Among the reveals was Team Asobi's next standalone Astro Bot game, simply titled Astro Bot. Priced at $60, the game will feature six galaxies and over 80 levels for players to explore, with the team stating that it's around four times larger than 2020's Astro's Playroom, a pack-in title for the PlayStation 5.

For those counting the days until Astro Bot comes out, this guide will go over all the editions for the game, as well as the bonuses you can get for pre-ordering.

Astro Bot PS5 Editions & Pre-Order Bonuses

Here's What You Get

OK, so there are technically three editions that gamers can opt into for Astro Bot:

  • The Physical Standard Edition is just the regular physical boxed copy of Astro Bot that goes for $60. However, if you preorder this version, players will get a cool poster, a PaRappa the Rapper Lovestruck Lyricist outfit, a graffiti paint color for the Dual Speeder, and two Astro avatars for your PSN profile (one of them is just Astro himself, and the other is Astro in a PaRappa outfit).
  • The Digital Standard Edition for Astro Bot also costs $60 and includes everything above except for the physical poster.
  • And the third edition of the game is the Digital Deluxe version, which goes for $69.99 and comes with everything above (except the poster) and the following bonuses:
    • Astro’s Yharnam Tourist outfit
    • Astro’s Golden outfit
    • The Neon Dream Dual Speeder paint color
    • The Champion’s Gold Dual Speeder paint color
    • The official Soundtrack and Digital Art Gallery
    • 10 Astro Avatars

It's worth noting that every paint color for Astro's Dual Speeder and the outfits that are part of the preorder bonuses can be obtained over the course of the game. People who preorder will just get everything right from the start.

You can preorder Astro Bot by heading to your local retailer or clicking this link to the digital PlayStation Store. Unfortunately, the 3D platformer is only available for the PS5 and will not launch on PS4 or PC, at least for the time being. Sony has been putting a lot of their first-party titles on Steam, like Ghost of Tsushima and the Horizon series, so there's a chance we could see Astro Bot taking the plunge as well.
