In one's ventures to aid Eivor's cousin and the king of Dublin, Bárid mac Ímair, players will need to get on the good side of the high king reigning in the Meath region, Flann Sinna. These goals are some of the quest objectives for the Wrath of the Druids DLC of Assassin's Creed Valhalla, where one's Viking persona heads to Ireland.

The political and trading aspects are not what many were expecting, given the name of this DLC, though interacting with Irish nobility does make one feel quite regal. To get high king Flann Sinna allied with Bárid, Eivor's cousin suggests that they find Sinna's poetess, a fiery singer name Ciara, and escort her to her liege lord.

How To Start The Quest

For Flann Sinna's approaching coronation, he will need his poetess to serenade all who gather, however, she is a bit busy getting drunk and picking fights in the streets of Dublin.

After starting the quest by speaking with Bárid, the king will give the player a rough estimation on where to find Ciara, which will lead Eivor to the market area. To pin down the singer's location easier, be sure to call upon Synin's eyes and ears to scout the area from above when one approaches the quest marker.

Where To Find Ciara In Dublin

As one approaches the market and scans the nearby structures, a bluish-green circle will highlight the search area, though Synin will be able to hear Ciara's singing from the air, and one can use her loud ballads to pinpoint her location. The songs of the poetess will lead one to a simple wooden pub with outdoor seating. This bar has a red triangular cloth roof for sheltering the tables outside and the building itself is located close to an outer wall of Dublin.

Approaching on foot will initiate a cutscene where Ciara insults a couple of thugs and Eivor has to fight them off using non-lethal methods. The ruffians are not very tough, so the player shouldn't have a hard time knocking them out. When done, however, Ciara will also become incapacitated after a drunken thanks due to her high level of inebriation. Bring her to a nearby pond for a quick dunk and she'll be ready to head back to Bárid alongside Eivor.

Traveling To Tara & Discovering A Plot

Following a short discussion after meeting up with Bárid, the three head out to Tara for the coronation of Flann Sinna. During this portion, there is mostly a cutscene and dialogue; not much for the player to do, but there is some Irish history mixed in with the fictional plot, for those interested in the lore of this lush land.

However, it is not all beautiful scenery, as when the characters arrive in Tara, they catch wind of an assassination plot. Usually, Eivor, and other Assassin's Creed protagonists, are on the opposite end of such circumstances, but this time the player must stop those trying to kill the high king, and the first step to doing so is to investigate where a suspicious altercation recently occurred in the camping area around Tara.

How To Find Clues While Investigating

Bárid will lead Eivor to a tent with a bloodstained floor, which the player must use to track where the perpetrators of the violence went, for there is reason to believe that they intend to commit even more attacks; next time on Flann Sinna.

There are only three routes to try, though the true trail is the one leading away from the tents and towards the nearest dirt road. Keep using one's Eagle Vision to follow the bloody patches of soil and this will soon lead the hunting party to their next clue.

How To Track The Potential Assassins

player following tracks is tara that lead to the enemy.

Following the trail of blood will lead Eivor and Bárid to a camp where the red path ends, but another begins; cartwheel tracks head off in a direction away from Tara. Following them is the best bet to locating the enemies, so hop onto one's steed and they will guide the player to an unfortunate scene.

How To Find The Potential Assassins & Their Base

The wheel tracks will lead to a broken cart and its dead owner lying facedown in a nearby creek. Eivor suspects that there is foul play at work and voices as much in a short monologue. By scouting the area with Synin and by using Eagle Vision, players will be able to spot the hideout of the villains responsible and assault their forces in typical Viking fashion: with a blade to their faces.

How To Complete The Quest

finding the enemy base and the kill order note.

Slaying the fiends in their foggy dwelling will reveal them to be of druidic origin, though the player will discover more about this is following quests. For now, simply note the wicker effigies and other ritualistic signs as one clears out this location of all hostiles.

After defeating every enemy, one will find a Kill Order note on the corpse of a fallen foe, which will tell the player much about the plans set against Flann Sinna. Thankfully, however, Eivor has averted the assassination by slaying the would-be killers before they could even get close to the high king. This will complete the quest and net the player a ton of XP for a near-guaranteed level-up.
