Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is out now on PS4 and Xbox One and players are ready to see what Valhalla’s Norse setting has in store. Of course, Assassin’s Creed Valhalla is available on Xbox Series X today, and will launch on PS5 on November 12.

Fair warning: there are spoilers ahead for Valhalla’s world. Given Valhalla’s Norse setting the game is heavily influenced by the myths and legends surrounding the Vikings. In fact, players can find an amazing piece of equipment in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla that belonged to one of the most famous Norse gods: Thor.

Unlocking Thor’s Helmet

Naturally, unlocking the helmet of a Norse god isn’t going to be very straightforward. As such, players who want to find Thor’s helmet are going to have to earn in. In order to even get to where Thor’s helmet rests, players are going to have to fight and defeat the three Daughters of Lerion. Needless to say, this will probably end up being one of Valhalla’s late-game quests unless players are playing on Easy, considering the recommended level is 300. The three daughters of Lerion are scattered in various locations around Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s massive map.

The first sister players want to find is Goneril, who is located in Grantebridgescire, to the west of Mercury Temple on the Isle of Ely. Players are going to want to be very familiar with Assassin’s Creed Valhalla’s combat system as these fights are going to prove quite challenging. The next sister, Cordelia, is found in East Anglia in Berkrew Bog. After Cordelia is defeated, the final sister named Regan can also be found in East Anglia in the northeast part of the region called Walsham Crag.

Where to Find Thor’s Helmet

Now that all three of the daughters of Lerion have been defeated, players should have collected three swords from each sister. Those swords are going to be the key to unlocking the path that leads to Thor’s helmet, which is a part of one of many armor sets in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla. Next, players need to head to the empty house next to a stone temple in East Anglia south of the Yare River bridge. There, players should drop down a hole in the floor, pass through the winding catacombs, and eventually find a statue with three stab wounds in its back.

Next, all players have to do is interact with the statue and place each of the three swords from the Daughters of Lerion in each slot. With that, the path to Thor’s helmet should open and players can collect their hard-earned headgear. Assassin’s Creed Valhalla has plenty of quests for players to complete, but the quest for Thor’s helmet is certainly one of the most challenging.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla is available now on PC, PS4, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X. A PS5 version of the game launches alongside the console on November 12.
