Within Assassin's Creed Valhalla, players can obtain a variety of mighty weapons and armor. While weapons like the Sepulcher Fire Axe can be brutal when used properly, none stand to the might of Thor's hammer, Mjolnir, itself. Obtaining this powerful hammer is a drawn out process, but it will be well worth the effort in the end.

It should be said outright that players can't obtain Mjolnir until they've beaten the main story of Assassin's Creed Valhalla. Certain armor pieces are also locked behind story progress, and others require the player to take down very powerful enemies. Getting the full set is an adventure in and of itself.

In order to obtain Mjolnir, players must first obtain all five pieces of Thor's armor. Some of these are easier to acquire than others, for example, it's relatively easy to get Thor's helmet in Assassin's Creed Valhalla, but Thor's cape is much more difficult to acquire.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla Thor's armor and Mjolnir

In order to get the first three pieces of Thor's armor (Thor's Breeches, Battle Plate, and Gauntlets), players need to track down and defeat three daughters of Lerion. Goneril can be found in Grantebridgescire, west of Mercury Temple on the Isle of Ely, and players will want to be around power level 90 before taking her on. The next sister is Cordelia, and she shouldn't be approached until the player is around level 340 or higher. Cordelia can be found in Berkrew Bog in East Anglia. Finally, Regan is around level 110 and is located in in the northeast part of the region called Walsham Crag in East Anglia.

Getting Thor's helmet is as easy as finding it in a cave near an empty house next to a stone temple in East Anglia, south of the Yare River bridge. Players must use the three daggers obtained from the sisters to unlock a hidden path that leads right to the helmet. Unlocking the final piece of Thor's armor takes the most amount of time, as players must kill all 45 Order of the Ancients members as well as 15 Zealots and 30 Inner Circle members. After this, the Hidden Ones Bureau will reward the player with Thor's Cape.

For players that have managed to all of that and completed the main story of Assassin's Creed Valhalla, they now need to head to the northernmost part of Norway. As long as they have all five pieces of armor equipped, the path will be clear and they can then claim Mjolnir, one of the most powerful weapons in the game.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
