Early on in Assassin's Creed Valhalla, Hytham will ask Eivor to seek out the old, abandoned Hidden Ones' bureaus scattered throughout England. As it happens, they seem to have taken their name very literally, as these bureaus can be very difficult to find at times. One of the first that players will come across is the Londinium Bureau, and it requires players to think outside the box.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla promotes exploration for the most part, but there are times when certain things are locked behind story progression. Though it may seem like it at first, the Londinium Bureau is not locked behind progression and can be accessed at any time should the player know how.

Gaining access to this area is a multi-step process, but doesn't require any of AC Valhalla's special abilities or equipment. The only thing players will need is to be sure that they have at least one arrow before trying to make their way in, as it will be necessary towards the end.

AC Valhalla Londinium Bureau Interior

The bureau can be found in Lunden, towards the northeast edge of the city. Though it's marked on the map, that won't lead players directly to the front entrance. Once near the area, players should notice a large, circular wall of wood blocking off a hole in the ground. Players need to climb over this and dive into the hole, leading to a large pool of water. In order to get into the bureau itself, players will need to swim underwater to the northwesternmost corner of the pool and break a wall to get inside.

From here, the path is straight but requires some acrobatics to traverse. Players first need to jump up to the wooden platform and then make their way over to the high pole sticking out of the side of the building. From here, a carefully placed shot from the bow can cause explosive pots inside the bureau to blow a hole through the wall. Players need to make their way around the building towards the hole and enter in order to gain access to the treasures and knowledge of the Londinium Bureau.

Inside, players will find a codex piece, a Hidden One's Mask, and a paper containing lore on the Hidden One's Bureau. Interestingly, this note claims that the Londinium Assassins made their way to Cologne, a town in Germany. This doesn't necessarily confirm a German Assassin's Creed game by any means, but it does reveal that there is an Assassin presence in that region.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla is available now on PC, PS4, PS5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X.
