Assassin's Creed Valhalla is Ubisoft's latest entry in the series, exploring the world of Vikings. Players can travel around and find a host of weapons and armor. Fans can utilize this gear to customize the play style of the main character, Eivor. A new set, Saint George's Armor, was added to Assassin's Creed Valhalla so take a look at this guide to find every piece.
With a design based on the equipment worn by historical templars, this set is not to be missed. Not only does it have a full suit to change Eivor's look, but it comes with a sword and shield. Keep in mind that players need access to River Raids in Assassin's Creed Valhalla to get the gear.

However, if one wants to jump into the series as a Viking Raider conquering the shores of Britain, then Valhalla is a great game to play regardless. There are several quests, items, and lore to find in Assassin's Creed: Valhalla. Saint George's armor set and the associated quests are the trickiest and the best in the game. This guide is updated to include extra steps to help find Saint George's Armor in Assassin's Creed: Valhalla.
Before Searching For Saints George's Armor
- First off, those looking for the set have to unlock River Raids.
- To do so, customize the settlement with the Barracks and hire Jomsviking.
- Reach a Power Level of around 130, and a character named Varn will appear in the settlement. Speak to Varn to begin a quest that will unlock River Raids and complete it.
- Getting every piece will require running these raids available in the end game.
Saint George's Armor Clues
Before finding the sets, Eivor must find the relevant clues in the correct locations:
- River Exe Clue - The first clue to find Saint George's Armor is on a table in Escanceaster Monastery. The monastery is located Northeast of River Exe.
- River Severn Clue - In the Northeast of River Severn, Eivor will find the Northern Monastery. The church has several enemies inside that need to be defeated first. Shoot an arrow through the locked door to break the lock and access it from the outside. Inside the room, Eivor will find the second clue to locate Saint George's Armor.
Finding Saint George's Armor In AC Valhalla
Finding the Saint George's Armor Set in Assassin's Creed: Valhalla isn't as straightforward as finding other items and weapons in the game. This is because the sets drops are randomized. Only the Saint George's Holy Sword found in a mission from Vagn isn't randomized.

Each piece of armor is in chests in the quest's military settlements with lots of soldiers and guards, so be prepared to fight.
- Great Helm - Found around River Dee
- Armor - Found Around River Dee
- Cape - Found Around River Exe
- Bracers - River Severn
- Trousers - River Severn
- Tower Sheild - Found in River Exe
- Holy Sword - Defeat the Champion at River Dee
To get the final raid on the River Dee, Eivor must locate two clues that can be found in the other two missions. Look for monasteries that appear in each of the raids. For the River Exe, check the hall for a table in which the first clue is hiding. When searching the monastery on the River Severn, check a smaller room that is next to the main hall for the second clue. Bring both of these items back to Vagn at the settlement to unlock the third and last raid.
Now that every location is available, players can finally begin the hunt for one of the best armor sets. While grinding the first two raids for the clues, some pieces may have already appeared, but if not, this is how it breaks down. As explained, every piece randomly spawns in a chest is sitting inside the military settlement in the River Raids. Saint George's Cape and Trousers can drop during the River Exe raid. The Bracers and Tower Shield will appear in the River Severn raids. Then look for the main Armor piece and Helm inthe River Dee raid.
Saint George's Sword will be the trickiest item to get, as it is not in a chest. During the River Dee raid, there is a Champion NPC waiting in the Deva Victrix Castle. Found in the northern area, players much rely on the changed combat in Assassin's Creed Valhalla to take out the enemy and receive the sword. The full set provides an attack and speed bonus, so fans will want to grind for this armor quickly.
The Saint George's Armor set in AC Valhalla is a mid-tier set but can be leveled up. In addition, The set Bear gear sets, so increasing the Bear Gear from Eivor's Skill Tree will increase the effectiveness of Saint George's Armor.
