As players start exploring Dublin in Assassin's Creed Valhalla's Wrath of the Druids DLC, they may come across an altar in Skald's Rest. This altar is at the center of a Mystery, and fans that wish to complete it will need to make an offering of 50 Delicacies. However, some players may be unclear on exactly how to get Delicacies in Assassin's Creed Valhalla, and this guide is here to shine some light on the matter.

To get right to it, there are actually a few methods for obtaining Delicacies, and they can be used in combination to complete this Mystery in AC Valhalla. The first method is to loot them from the world chests that are found across Ireland, and indeed fans should make sure to open all of the containers that they come across. That said, these chests typically only grant Delicacies in small quantities, which means that players should not expect to get 50 of them through looting alone.

Another way to get Delicacies is to complete Royal Demands, side quests that are accessed from the pigeon coops in AC Valhalla's Wrath of the Druids DLC. These coops can be found at various Trade Posts and towns throughout Ireland, and players can see the rewards that they grant by hovering of the tasks. Notably, while Royal Demands are a more consistent source for Delicacies than world chests, fans that want to complete the Skald Altar offering should still consider employing the third and final method.

That method begins with the completion of the Rathdown Build Up main quest, which comes quite early in the Wrath of the Druids campaign. After finishing that quest, players will have the ability to claim Trade Posts , and they should take control of either Ardmel in Ulster or Athlone in Connacht. Indeed, Assassin's Creed Valhalla fans that hold one of these Posts will accumulate a designated number of Delicacies every minute, and they can be looted from the "Overseas Trading" chest in Dublin.

One final thing to mention is that Delicacies are not only used for the Skald's Rest Mystery. Indeed, players can also turn this material in to Azar, an NPC located next to the aforementioned "Overseas Trading" chest, in order to increase their Dublin Renown in AC Valhalla. Considering that there are two achievements associated with reaching the max Dublin Renown level, it is advisable that fans start amassing Delicacies sooner rather than later.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla is available now on PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
