Assassin's Creed Valhalla is already a big game, but it just keeps on growing. Ubisoft has released the patch notes for Assassin's Creed Valhalla's latest update, coming in at 20 GB.

The most recent Assassin's Creed titles have seen the series at its most ambitious, with each entry providing larger and larger worlds, as well as more sophisticated combat options and activities. Maintaining such a massive world requires consistent patches and tweaks, so that the experience can be refined, and that the game as a whole remains cohesive. Likewise, updates give the developers the ability to retroactively add new content into the game, whether its timed-events or new game modes that may not have been ready when the game originally shipped. Assassin's Creed Valhalla got its update roadmap, recently, which outlined what new content and patches fans can expect over the upcoming months.

Ubisoft released the patch notes for the latest Assassin's Creed Valhalla update, Title Update 1.3.2. This is an expected update that was first mentioned in the aforementioned roadmap for Valhalla. The update has a different size on every platform, with the Xbox One, Xbox Series X/S and PC all hovering around the 20GB mark, and the PS4 and PS5 versions floating around the 10 GB mark. Assassin's Creed Valhalla's last update, Title Update 1.3.1, came in September, adding Nightmare Difficulty and more River Raids content to the game amongst other features.

Overall, Title Update 1.3.2 primarily fixes problems and bugs rather than adding new content. Beyond the typical issues addressed by patches like lighting problems or performance fixes, 1.3.2 addresses some annoying glitches that would occur during the Siege of Paris DLC and River Raids missions. This update also notably prepares the game for Assassin's Creed Valhalla's upcoming Discovery Tour: Viking Age expansion, the educational game mode dropping later this month. Title Update 1.3.2 is available now on all platforms.

As far as Title Updates go, 1.3.2 is pretty standard, as it addresses some common issues and not really adding too much—refining what is already here. It is interesting that there is such a discrepancy in file size between every platform's update, with it being as low as 8.54 GB on the PS5 and as high as 24.09 GB on the Xbox Series X/S. For players on PC and Xbox, perhaps they should verify they have adequate space before firing off the download. All eyes are now on the Discovery Tour and the other updates coming later this season.

Assassin's Creed Valhalla is available on Luna, PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Stadia, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X/S.
