Players wanting to pass the time will need to find the closest bench in their proximity. The number of benches in populous areas is way higher than in the outskirts. After finding a bench, approach it and press the Triangle button on PlayStation or the Y button on Xbox to blend. After sitting on the bench, players will see the option to pass the time. Press and hold the Triangle button on PlayStation or the Y button on Xbox until the bar fills completely.
Subsequently, the time of day will be changed to either morning or night. It depends on what time players sit on a bench. There are various perks associated with passing time, which is why players should do it at every chance that they get.
Passing time resets the civilians so they can be pickpocketed for Dirhams and other valuable items.
