Popular fan community Access the Animus announces a new fan art contest for Assassin's Creed Mirage where submissions will be judged, and winners sent to and displayed at Ubisoft Bordeaux. The Bordeaux studio is leading development on Assassin's Creed Mirage, with assistance from other Ubisoft development studios.

Assassin's Creed Mirage is the next entry in Ubisoft's beloved and long-running franchise, focusing on the early days of Basim as he enters the Hidden Ones. It takes place about twenty years before the events of Assassin's Creed Valhalla, and its setting of Baghdad has tons of franchise potential. All in all, there are plenty of elements that could inspire fan art, and this contest is seeking to reward that creativity.

For their submissions, Assassin's Creed Mirage fans can focus on any aspect of the upcoming game "without restrictions of style and topic." The three selected winners will see their art printed, sent to Ubisoft Bordeaux, and displayed at the studio. If they so wish, winners will be able to write a message to the developers as well. Participants can submit their artwork between today, October 26, and Sunday, November 20 at 23:59 CET. Fans can enter by posting on Facebook or Twitter using the #ATALabsContest hashtag or sending them directly to contest@accesstheanimus.com.

The eligible artworks will be posted in the Access the Animus on Monday, November 21, the day after the contest ends. This will allow fans to vote by reacting to the artwork. Furthermore, they will be submitted for judging by Valeria Favoccia (Italian Comic Artist who has worked with Titan Comics, Dark Horse Comics, and more), Sebastian Dell'Aria (illustrator and portraitist who has worked with Marvel, the Assassin's Creed Symphony, and created the Assassin's Creed Sisterhood logo), and Chariflame (also known as Fae, who has worked on Assassin's Creed art and cosplay for over a decade).

Winners will be announced on November 30, with the community reaction amounting to 40% of the final vote and Judges amounting to the other 60%. If a submission somehow ties, then the community reactions will be the deciding factor.
