Ubisoft's Assassin's Creed Mirage changes up various gameplay elements in a bid to return to the original essence of the franchise. With an increased focus on stealth and social dynamics, there is less focus on acquiring and upgrading specific equipment than in previous installments. One major change is the different perks associated with armor, which has now been renamed "Outfits". Each Outfit will have its own unique ability, as well as a weapon set that can go with it to enhance the abilities of each piece of equipment.

Outfits can be upgraded by visiting Tailors throughout Baghdad and the surrounding settlements, though new Outfits will need to be acquired by completing certain quests or looting Gear Chests which can be found throughout the game world. In addition to Outfits, players can also get Costumes, which will modify the appearance of an Outfit without changing its stats or abilities.

6 Initiate Of Alamut Outfit

Assassin's Creed Mirage Best Outfits Initiate of Alamut Outfit

The Initiate of Alamut Outfit starting equipment players will receive upon the completion of the game's prologue before reaching Baghdad. The outfit will grant Basim the Silent Blade perk, which will reduce the noise of Assassinations by 50%. This can also be increased to 75% and 100% with further upgrades, making chain assassinations considerably easier when playing with a high Notoriety Level.

Players will be able to acquire the upgrade schematics for the Initiate of Alamut outfit by completing the mission "First Order", which will require the assassination of The Slaver Al Ghul in the Caravanserai. While this is the first outfit players will start with, it is good enough to see them through to the end of the game if upgraded at the appropriate time, and its special ability is particularly suited to those who favor stealth gameplay.

5 Rostam Outfit

Assassin's Creed Mirage Best Outfits Rostam Outfit

The Rostam Outfit is another outfit that will favor players with a stealth focus, as it quietens Basim's overall movement, making the traversal of hostile territories much easier. The outfit will cause enemies to hear less noise, initially by 50%, but can later be upgraded to 75% and 100% respectively once the required schematics have been obtained. As well as assassinations, this can greatly assist in thievery as well, since it will be much easier for Basim to sneak around restricted areas without having to cause confrontation.

The outfit can be acquired by completing the "Marked Coins" Contract, which is available from the Contract Boards in any Assassin's Bureau. Upgrade schematics for the outfit can subsequently be earned by completing the contracts "The Traitor" and "Orion's Belt".

4 Hidden One Outfit

Assassin's Creed Mirage Best Outfits Hidden One Outfit

The Hidden One Outfit is another outfit that can be accessed relatively early in the game, though it may be tricky due to its location. The outfit will provide Basim with the Deadly Moment perk, which will cause stealth kills to fill an additional 5% of the Focus Meter, enabling Basim to perform more executions in this mode. In combination with the effects of the Hidden One Dagger and Sword weapons, this is easily the most effective build for players seeking to prioritize the Focus Meter in their style of play.

The Hidden One Outfit must be retrieved from any of the Gear Chests within the Round City. Once retrieved, the upgrade schematics can be found in the two remaining chests. When the Outfit is fully upgraded, the Focus Meter can fill up to 15% with each kill, making it available for use much more frequently.

3 Zanj Uprising Outfit

The Zanj Uprising Outfit is a very useful outfit with a unique ability to influence Notoriety level and prevent Basim from being constantly pursued. To begin with, the outfit will reduce Notoriety gained by visible legal actions by 20%, but this can be upgraded to 30% at Tier 2 and 40 at Tier 3, which can have a massive impact on the overall accumulation of Notoriety and help to have a much smoother experience overall.

Valhalla comes with plenty of different armor sets to choose from, even separated by type. Here are some of the best in the game.

The outfit can be found in a Gear Chest located in the Harabiya Upper Harbor. There is a small puzzle to solve in order to access the chest, but once it has been unlocked, players will be free to equip the outfit whenever they like. The upgrade schematics for the Zanj Uprising Outfit can be found in the Prince's Palace in Harabiya and the Khurasan Guardhouse gate.

2 Sand Outfit

Assassin's Creed Mirage Best Outfits Sand Outfit

The Sand Outfit is one of several items players can acquire through purchasing the Deluxe Pack, which can be found in the in-game store, or will already be available for Deluxe Edition players. The Outfit will give players the Second Chance perk, which allows Basim to slow time during combat. The base level will slow for 3 seconds, while the upgrades will enable this effect to be extended up to 5 seconds.

Players can begin applying upgrades to the outfit once they have visited the first Assassin's Bureau in Harbiya. When combined with the Sand Sword and Dagger of Time, this almost gives Basim a super-human ability to slow time, and will greatly aid in defending against heavy attacks.

1 Milad's Outfit

Assassin's Creed Mirage Best Outfits Milad's Outfit

Milad's Outfit is a futuristic armor set acquired by spending 5 mysterious shards in the Northern Oasis cave. The outfit has a unique ability which detonates a strike of lightning after a successful Air Assassination, which will affect any bystanders within a 15-meter radius. No upgrades are necessary for this outfit, since it already comes fully upgraded once it has been unlocked from the cave.

To access this, along with several other powerful weapons, players can head to a small oasis North of the desert and Wilderness. Here, they will need to dive underwater where a cave can be accessed and several magical items are housed. Players will visit this location after meeting up with Nehal during the mission "Nehal's Calling".
