Assassin's Creed Mirage is set in ninth-century Baghdad when the Abbasid Empire was at the peak of its powers. However, beneath the golden surface is the ugly truth surrounding the Order. Basim, the main character of the game, decides to stand up against these malevolent forces.
His path causes him to join the Hidden Ones, an ancient order of assassins that fights against the figures lurking in the dark. Basim's journey is not easy, and he requires the best tools and weapons to complete it. Obtaining these items is not easy, but there are different ways that Assassin's Creed Mirage players can use to make the process easier. One of them is with the help of contracts.

What Are Contracts In Assassin's Creed Mirage
After progressing through the story to a certain point, players will unlock the Hidden Ones' Bureau and the Contract Board. The latter is filled with contracts that are posted by the three different factions in Baghdad, namely, the Rebels, Merchants, and Scholars. These groups will post a contract from time to time, which can be viewed on the Contract Board. The contracts have different symbols, revealing what faction they will help Basim curry favor with. These contracts also provide invaluable items, which is why they must be done whenever players get the chance.
Why Contracts Should Be Completed
By finishing a contract, players will gain different rewards that will boost their overall progress. Depending on the contract players select, they will receive various rewards, which include:
- Tokens
- Weapons
- Schematics
- Resources
- Money
- Outfit
- Skill Points
These rewards are extremely tempting and should be enough for players to clear the contract board. Here is how players can accept a contract:
- Go to the Hidden Ones' Bureau
- Find the Contract Board
- Scroll to the one that meets the need
- Check the rewards
- Accept the contract by pressing the X button.
After picking a contract, players can see it by heading to the Investigation tab and navigating to the bottom to find the option called Contracts. Press on it, and it will reveal all the active contracts. If players want to see the completed contracts, they can do so by pressing the R3 button.
Players can earn extra rewards by completing the Contractor request. If they manage to meet the demand, it will be reflected on the screen.
One of the most important things about completing contracts is that they grant tokens.There are three types of tokens:
- Merchant Tokens
- Scholar Tokens
- Power Tokens
Merchant tokens can be used to open Token Boxes, and they can be used to blend in with merchants, granting an easier route through a restricted area. If given to traders, these tokens will give players a discount on various items.
​​​​​​Scholar tokens are meant to be given to musicians, who will then distract enemies. Or they can be given to cartographers to buy maps.
Giving mercenaries Power tokens will cause them to attack nearby guards, allowing Basim to break in easily. They can also be given to the Munadi to bring down the notoriety.
Given the multiple uses of the tokens, it is easy to see why players should complete the contracts in the game.
