Like so many of its predecessors, Assassin's Creed: Mirage offers a startlingly huge amount of side content for its players to lose themselves in. It seems all across Baghdad, Basim is constantly finding some new mystery, quest, or puzzle to distract from his quest to destroy the Order of the Ancients' influence in the city. One of these offerings is AC Mirage's Enigmas. These unique interactions task Basim with solving a puzzle or riddle, which eventually leads to some type of reward.
Mirage's Enigmas are spread all across Baghdad, and can be found very early in the game. Basim will have access to them the moment he returns to the city after his training. This guide will explain the basic concept of Enigmas, how to go about solving them, and how to collect the treasure they reward. This entire process will unlock AC Mirage's 'Riddle Me This' Trophy/Achievement.

How to Find Enigmas in Assassin's Creed: Mirage
As previously stated, Basim will start to find Enigmas as soon as he is set free into the open world of Baghdad. When using Enkidu the Eagle, keep an eye out for the golden lines that rise from certain points in the city. These usually lead to higher-value POIs and collectibles, including Enigmas.
Another important tool that will help discover Enigmas is the viewpoint locations. Any viewpoint Basim comes across should be synchronized. When this is done, several important POIs will be revealed, and fairly often, Enigmas will be included.
How to Begin an Enigma Quest in AC Mirage
Enigmas will always be represented by a golden, unrolled scroll, both on the main map, and when using Enkidu. Head to the location marked on the map and use Eagle Vision to locate the Enigma scroll. In the game-world, the actual scroll will be rolled up.
Upon finding the scroll, Basim will first collect it, then locate it in his Bag, which is found in the Inventory tab in the main menu. Each Enigma scroll will contain its own unique clue, and the form these clues take can vary. Often it is simply written word, but it can also take the form of a hand-drawn map. Essentially, the moment Basim finds an Enigma scroll, the informal 'quest' to find the treasure it leads to begins.
How to Solve Enigmas in AC Mirage
In nearly every case, everything needed to solve each Enigma is built into the clue itself. For this guide, the 'Find What I Stole' Enigma will be examined. This Enigma can be found extremely early, and players can access the area containing the solution equally early.
This Enigma is found near the Qutrabbul Gate, in the northwest corner of the city. Use Enkidu to find the Enigma marker, which is located right along the wall, just before the river. It is sitting out in the open, just under a canopy. See the image for the exact location.
The clue given in the Enigma is as follows:
"Find What I Stole! The guards are closing in, and I must write this quickly. I have obtained what I was seeking, just as I said I would but I have run out of time! Avenge me and find what I risked my life for! Search the soap boilers...and from the heights, look for the colorful fabrics! Remember me for my courage and not my fate and I bid you good luck!"
It is clear that the only section that matters in this clue is the section that refers to the soap boilers and its surroundings. It may take players time to realize this, but there is a section of the city where soap is made. It is likely that Basim will have to explore the city before discovering this fact organically.
The Soap Boiler's District is located adjacent to the administrative district, with the wall that circles 'Round City' separating the two. The clue clearly points to this area, along with seeing 'colorful fabrics' from the heights. Since there is no viewpoint in the area, it is up to Enkidu to help here.
Make sure to look over the whole area, and be prepared to have some misses before finding the correct location. There are several areas that could be seen to have 'colorful fabric,' but the correct location is found just over the bridge that crosses from the Great Mosque district into the Soap Boilers District. There are two large swaths of red/brown and blue fabrics that partially hide a small gazebo.
Players will see that by providing a clear indicator when approaching the gazebo, Mirage does help ensure players know they have found the correct location.

Collecting Rewards and Riddle Me This Trophy/Achievement
When Basim approaches the gazebo, there is a clear 'aura' rising from the ground that marks the treasure location. At the location, the player will be prompted to hold down the triangle/Y button to collect the treasure. The first time Basim solves an Enigma, the 'Riddle Me This' trophy/achievement will be completed, and the player's console/PC should let them know.
The reward for 'Find What I Stole' is the Black Zanj Uprising outfit dye. This is a black dye with purple and gold accents, but it only works on the Zanj Uprising outfit. With this complete, players now have the blueprint for solving all Enigmas in Assassin's Creed: Mirage.
