FromSoftware has managed to do the unthinkable by delivering one exceptional game after another, and Armored Core 6 is no exception. Armored Core 6 delivers a consistent experience for all players, which should explain why multiplayer is unavailable for everyone from the get-go. Players must undergo a couple of challenges before accessing multiplayer in Armored Core 6. Armored Core 6 has five chapters, and players can only unlock multiplayer after completing chapter two.

Chapter two has three missions in total, and multiplayer will be accessible after completing the final mission. After completing the final mission, Ocean Crossing, from chapter two, players must return to the garage. Apart from getting some rest, players will get access to NEST. NEST in Armored Core 6 gives players access to amazing battles against other players online. Every PVP event is available on NEST.

After getting access to NEST, players can participate in PVP events from across the globe. Players can choose from the two following modes:

  1. 1V1
  2. 3V3

Regardless of the multiplayer mode selected, players need to keep the following in mind:

  • Players have one life on the battlefield, and healing is disabled by default.
  • As the battle draws closer to the end, the team with the most remaining HP or with a greater presence on the battlefield will be crowned the victor.

Armored Core 6 does not have a co-op mode at this time.

After picking a multiplayer mode, players must look for other players. Players can either invite friends or create a lobby. Additionally, players also have the option to join open lobbies to play with strangers to keep things interesting. It is worth noting players have the liberty to tweak each match according to their needs and requirements. Players hosting a PVP event are free to change maps, game modes, and other rules as they see fit.

Armored Core 6 is available on Xbox One, Xbox Series S/X, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and PC.
