Armored Core 6 has been released to positive reviews. From Software's mecha series returns and brings all the high-speed action fans of the series know and love. Soulsbourne players may also enjoy the intense boss fights that end each chapter. The mission-based gameplay in Armored Core 6 allows for optional side objectives and collectibles.
After completing Mission 2 - Destroy Artillery Installations, players are given the Loghunt task. This involves destroying certain enemies hidden throughout each chapter. Collecting Combat Logs will level up the player's Hunter Rank and unlock new parts. Players can use this guide for all the Log locations in Chapter 1. Players can view any logs they have missed in the replay mission menu.
Mission 4 - Destroy the Transport Helicopters
The Tetrapod MT can be found during Mission 4. It will be located among the last group of target Transport helicopters. Destroying the Transport Helicopters will end the mission so take it out first.
Mission 5 - Destroy the Tester AC
The Tester AC is the main objective of this mission. Simply approach the helicopter and it will appear. This is the player's first opportunity to fight an AC one-on-one.
Mission 6 - Attack the Dam Complex
Two logs can be found during the assault on the dam. Stick to the right of the level past the second generator target to find another Tetrapod MT. Make sure to take out the pair of MTs on the frozen dam above to make this fight easier,
The Burn Pickaxe AC is located on the ice field below the final target. This character will begin yelling at the player over the radio. The friendly Balam NPCs will act as a good distraction while fighting him. Defeat this AC before destroying the final target.
Mission 8 - Operation Wallclimber
This Log can be acquired by destroying a trio of MTs. Look for them on the western side of the level near some destroyed mechs. They all have a glowing turquoise light on the front. It may help to destroy all the artillery on the wall before fighting them
Mission 9 - Retrieve Combat Logs
Players only have four minutes to pick up at least five combat logs during this mission.
Use Assault Boost to rush straight down and to the left by the crashed warship. Little Ziyi will appear when the downed mech is approached. Players need to defeat her and finish the mission within the time limit. Fight her first before going after the objective.
Mission 11 - Attack the Watchpoint
At the halfway point of this mission the player will meet Sulla. Defeat him to progress and acquire his Battle Log. He will be the toughest fight the player has encountered so far.
