Each competitive season typically adds a new Legend to the game with mid-season updates often featuring events with unique gameplay mechanics. The recent introduction of the Spellbound event, however, brought an unexpected and unintended change to Horizon, with the character's accuracy while using her Gravity Lift ability drastically reduced. Now, the developer has officially confirmed a proper fix to the bug.An update shared by Respawn Entertainment on Monday informs fans of a small patch for Apex Legends, detailing the minor changes made to the game with the update. Among other changes like a fix to the tactical charges for Legends in the game's battle royale mode, Respawn officially confirmed the changes to Horizon have been reverted. The developer would go on to say that Monday's patch serves as a proper fix to the ongoing issue with Horizon, rather than the backend solution they had previously implemented. Apex players should not expect to see any changes to Horizon from the previous fix.
With the frequency of updates to Apex Legends, the battle royale has been no stranger to bugs and glitches as it approaches its fourth anniversary.
