Recently, new data was revealed showing the current pick rates for Legends in Season 11 of Apex Legends. It’s worth noting that this news comes via ApexLegendsStatus and not directly from Respawn Entertainment. As a result, the complete database for the battle royale is unavailable unless the developers decide to unveil it in the future. Nevertheless, the information available through the ApexLegendsStatus database contains almost 8 million active players, meaning that these pick rates should be a reasonably accurate representation of the entire player base.

Perhaps the most intriguing news regarding these pick rates pertained to the new Legend Ash. According to ApexLegendsStatus, her popularity skyrocketed to the top of the list when she was first released. However, like many other Legends, her numbers decreased over time. Nevertheless, she has remained popular, occupying the sixth spot on this list at a solid 5.9% pick rate. This contrasted with the underwhelming pick rate of Seer. While he was the most popular Legend at the beginning of Season 10, several nerfs have dropped him to near the bottom of the list.
Besides showing the pick rates of the newer Legends, this new data revealed that Wraith and Octane are the most popular characters in Apex Legends. In fact, they are tied for the top spot with a 12.5% pick rate. This news should not come as much of a surprise to many fans, as they have been 2 of the most popular characters for a long time now. Rounding out the top 5 are Bloodhound at 9.5%, Pathfinder at 9.1%, and Valkyrie at 7.6%.
Several other notable movers on the list included Horizon and Loba, who have both entered the top 10 with 4.3% and 4.4 % pick rates. Their upward movement is possibly attributed to them both receiving buffs to their abilities over the past couple of seasons. In addition, Wattson has become slightly more popular due to several Season 11 improvements to her kit, such as decreased cooldown for her electric fencing.
It is interesting learning which Legends gamers decide to pick when they jump into a game. However, it is worth remembering that these numbers are likely to change in the future as the developers continue to make changes to characters. Only time will tell what this list could look like when Season 12 launches next month.
